Question about 1997 Volkswagen Jetta

I have bought a 1984 volkswagon transporter campervan however, we do not have instructions on how to use the electrics in the camper part of the van for example, the fridge or lights and so forth, would you know if there is an instruction manual I can purchase from anywhere please

First make certain you have sufficient oil.
Then check coolant level.
If both are OK, you may have a goofy sensor. The one in the expansion tank is particularly prone to cracking and giving weird readings.

it will have a warning light nut it has to be under the bonnet but some VW older vehicles had it under the dash /speedo like the old transporter camper vans

My VW T5 camper van does not come with a spare wheel. There appears to be a space underneath the rear of the vehicle designed to take a spare wheel. If this is correct then can I get one fitted and would...


t5 originally had a spare wheel underneath but some conversion companies remove it to fit waste water/sewerage tanks etc,you will need to put car on ramp and see if you have enough space,or do whatever the rest of us do and put it on the front(makes a good deer ram...)

I don't know about a caddy engine but a very successful transplant is the 2c toyota turbo engine.

Vw t25 campervan


The temperature guage sensor is located on the thermostat housing. I would start simple and check the wiring. clean the connectors.
