2005 S Isuzu Ascender Speedometer niddle moved all the way to the right of gage and as not moved.

If the odometer is working correctly, the problem is inside the speedometer head.
The speed sensor would be on the side of the transmission if the odometer is not working.

Location of transmission sencor??

The input an output speed sensors are located in the front of the transmission (the side facing the radiator). The input speed sensor is the one right below the rubber transmission cooler lines. the out put speed sensor looks exactly the same and is located more toward the drivers side of the transmission.

If you looking for a different sensor let me know. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

What is first and second sencor? I was asking about the speed sencor. Is more than one???

according to Lexus ls400 (1991 -1994)factory serrvice manual, you have two speed sensors.in most of cars speed information gathered from trasnmission output shaft. (some of them gathers same info from differential if it is rear wheel drive) first one supplies required information to dashboard. second one is supplementary. if first broken second supllies required info.

I have replaced MAP sencor and the throttle positioning sencor. And the engine will still not idle down.

Maybe a vacuum leak or a bad Idle speed control motor. What year and type of ford?

Need to replace sencor on left rear wheel ABS brake or speed sencor is bad on left rear

Jack up the wheel and remove it...Make sure the ignition is off and key removed for the operation....Look for the electrcal cable, it'll be flexible and follow it to the sensor....Remove the retaining bolt and gently remove sensor....un plug the old one and replace with the new one and plug in the cable...The ABS and Speed sensor are usually incorperated as one unit....Regards Johngee
