Question about BMW 325
When attempting to start the dash flashes and goes "click". A new BWM spec battery was installed approx. 2 months ago.
I'm guessing an electrical short somewhere, but where do you start looking?
Because everything is computerised wouldn't a faul show up at a service? The cars was serviced not long (maybe a month) before we had to replace the battery.
Take battery back get a new one or have it tested. like auto zone or a parts store even wal-mart now. If this battery was just dead and needed charged. Then sounds like to me you have a bad alternater. you can rely know if you can get the battery charged up and get the car to start. and while the car is running pull the positive connection of the battery if car dies bad alternater .
