Try going to passenger door window switch and reset it by going down and holding for extra 3to5 seconds after window is down, do same to go up, then try doing it with master switch don forget to hold it longer, this is a reset also used on Scion vehicles, hope it helps.
Good luck
I had the identical problem yesterday when I changed the battery in my 2006 Avalon ltd. The passenger-side window would not operate from drivers-side switch, though it works OK with passenger switch.
As mentioned, using passenger switch and holding it down for 3 seconds after it fully opened and fully closed caused the circuit breaker to reset. Now it works normally from Drivers switch. All other functions of the car were working fine (except having to reset the radio presets etc.)
Same exact thing happened to me just yesterday. After getting my new Auto Zone 8yr battery, I sat in the parking lot and out of curiosity decided to check my AC, radio and windows. All worked except the passenger window from the drivers side control. Went back inside and asked them about it and they were like "Oh no Mamm, changing the battery has nothing to do with your window switches". I decided to just order a new switch and replace it myself (not as expensive as I thought it would be) and as I was about to close the Google page, saw this post. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I had to try it twice, but it worked! Whoo Hoo! Can't help but to wonder though, what about a new battery causes this.
Happened with me today when i had to do some maintenance and took the negative side off. the mentioned procedure of holding the passenger side window switch down and hold it for 3 seconds then roll it up and hold it for another 3 seconds solved the problem. same procedure for the slide roof issue. thanx for the previous comments
Excellent answer Magoly Auto! I saw this after my battery change on an Avalon 2007! It works like a charm!

Same thing with my 2007 Avalon LTD, which only has 29,000 miles on
it. Gave it for 30,000 miles service and returned it with the driver
side master switch unable to move passenger window.
Thanks to this webpage's contributor above, it is all fixed.
Wow, never had heard of this problem before. I am extremely glad I stumbled across this post! I was in the process of pricing window motors and regulators! The reset worked exactly as described. Thanks for your help and advice everyone.
2006 Toyota Avalon Limited
Put a new battery in and windows were doing the same thing: drivers side auto did not work, drivers side did not roll down passenger window at all, passenger side auto did not work but would roll down using passenger side button, back windows worked fine. I was told to unconnect my battery for an hour or up to 24 hours so that everything will reset itself. I googled what to do and came across this website first that was crazy but I tried it my windows work just like usual. Thank you all for your advice I love my Toyota! 155000 miles
