Question about 1999 Land Rover Discovery
HELLO EVERYONE HOPE SOMEBODY CAN HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEM, I HAVE A LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II YEAR 1999 AND NOT TO LONG AGO I NOTICE THAT 3 LIGHTS (ABS,TRACTION CONTROL AND DESCENDING CONTROL) ARE COMMING ON IN MY DASH EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT FOR A WHILE OR SLAM THE BRAKES, I HAD ALREADY SCAN THE CODES TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL SENSORS ARE FINE BUT ANYWAY IT KEEPS DOING IT ..PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TO DO MY EMAIL IS email@example.com thanks in advance.
9 times out of 10 it is the ABS modulator for the disco II's. That being said, i hope you're sitting down...only a LR shop or a shop with auto logic can fix it and it's gonna cost you... A new modulator costs around 2k. if you can get the dealer to install a remanufactured one, it will cost you around 700 for the part and about 3-4 hours of labor.
