I would have to say go to the junk yard and pull out the parts you need (cheapest way to go).....or order them online....maybe attempt cleaning them but any way you do it, its not gonna empty your wallet to badly

You did not post the year make and model but two things that can cause this are the push button for the door locks are bad or the body control module is bad.

Is there a way to unlock the rear door of a 2004 jeep liberty from the inside

If you hit the unlock button in the door 2 times, it should unlock the tailgate. Otherwise you may have to go back to the dealership and have them program a new remote for you. If the battery in your remote went dead, it may work again by replacing the battery.

put a new battery in remote, try key in other door," are you sure the car battery is not dead," !!!! If it is then remote wont work, if you are locked out of car call wrecker or lock smith and they can slim jim the door to get you inside. then unlock doors USING THE POWER LOCK button PROVIDING CAR BATTERY IS NOT DEAD!!!!

My power locks started making noise, now my battery is dead. Can I just disconnect the power from the locks so it doesn't wear out my battery?

yes the best way is to remove the door panel and unplug the plug at the lock its on the inside of the door.but i think your problem is going to be at the drivers door jam you will most likely find chaffed wires possibly touching causing the drain and working on their own.hope this helps you.

1999 ford taurus door automatic locks stick when locking or unlocking. Somtimes i have to click unlock 5 times to open it!

Get your spray can of WD-40 or similar out & spray all around inside/behind latch assemblies with little red nozzle that comes with it. Be generous, the linkages that attach to back & sides of latch, inside door panel start getting seized, which causes it to hold back when you hit that button. What you want to do is get that penetrating fluid to run down the side & back, of the latch assy. Keep working the button manually & automatic too while lube is working in. Give it a day or 2 then do the same with a spray can of white lithium grease to help prevent same later. Don't forget to stick nozzle in key slot as far as you can & spray as you pull it back out slowly too.

Automatic locks are draining battery, 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sup

Pull fuse to locks and see if that solves the problem first, does the battery drain over night, could be a bad voltage regulator in alternator.
