Question about 1998 Honda Civic
My civic has +300,000km and has recently started burning oil at about 2500 to 3500 rpm. In 2-3-4 gear. Any Ideas to what the cause may be?
Yea she's getting old. I got a 90 civic and burn about a quart a week its common for Hondas of older yrs wouldn't worry bout it to much. I've got almost 300k on mine and drive 160miles daily to work roundtrip and still strong. Big deal though Keep Oil Changed!!!!!!!!!!! As well as regularly timed tuneups. Good luck.

Worn rings and/or valve guides - time for a re-build.
