Hello, The stereo has a CD stuck in it and just says ERR.
Is there a way to remove the CD? I have disconnected the battry as the owner's manual recommends. It did not help. Also, I would like to know how to remove the stereo to replace or have it repaired. Any illustrations/ instructions? Thanks, Mike VA

Yes you can remove the CD , how did it get stuck, during loading or when you tried to eject it? Is it a multi disk Player or a single cd player and is the loader in the trunk of the vehicle?

Chances is it bounced out of its supported location and lodged it`s self inside the stereo. The stereo will have to be removed and taken apart to retrieve the disc if your not sure how to disassemble then take to dealer
err-3 means you have entered incorrect anti-theft radio code more that three times. If you do not have radio code you can most of the time find the code card tucked away in the owners manual pouch.(looks like a bussiness card)If you are unable to find card you would have to pull radio from dash and retrive stereo serial number, which is on bottom side of radio.once you have s/n you can take s/n to any acura dealership(has to be a dealer)and they can get radio code for that stereo through Honda Corp.once you have correct radio code you will need to first unplug radio,or disconnect battery to reset radio memory, then type in radio code.again if entered incorrectly 3x ,radio would need to be reset again too clear error codes.good luck!
This is not a fuse problem, it may be a dirty laser lens or a broken loading mechanism, buy a CD player cleaner disk, if that won't work you will have to pull the unit out and send it in for repair at an authorized GM electronics repair station.
Sometimes it requires a manual reset by disconnecting the wire harnest from the back the stock stereo that is that best solution before spending any money find some instruction in how to take out the Stock stereo.. Member Stereo shops are always trying to sell things ok just take some steps before paying somebody else, i think anybody could read some Basic Instruction..
Usually this problem will occur when the battery has been disconnected. Have you tried your reset code, which originally should have been located just inside the owner's manual. Make sure you read the instructions, please you only get a couple of tries at a time.
