Question about 1994 Eagle Talon

What should I look for now in my Eagle Talon, to get it started?

1994 Eagle Talon, will not start or even turn over. Went to Auto Zone to have everything tested. New battery, alternater, starter. and still will not turn over. It won't even make any noise when I turn the key. Do you have any ideas what to look for next? I was even wondering if I should take off the steering colum to check to see if the ignition has had a wire that has come off. Thank you

Remove tie-rod end inner

You'll have to get an inner tie-rod tool. It is a long tube with a crows foot in the end that slips over the hex on the tie rod where it connects the the steering rack. Auto Zone and other part stores will loan you the tool. The tie rod end comes out just like a bolt, turn it counter clockwise to remove it.

I have a 94 eagle talon and just replaced the altenator because it wouldn't start. It now starts and runs strong but after about 5 minutes to dies. Any suggestions as to what this could be? I'm at a loss.

alternator maybe, the starter creates the current to start the car the alternator keeps the current it can also ruin the starter and the battery ask autozone

Nothing happens when key is turned and clutch is down, no clicking, no lights, battery is fully charged and terminals are tight. 1994 eagle talon fwd 5 speed 1.8L

Sounds to me like the ignition module went out. I would test the ignition module, then I would test the clutch safety switch. If these test out fine I would test the starter and replace it if it is suspected to be bad.

No lights really seems like the battery might be dead, or a fuse is blown. Check the main and alt. fuses.

I have a 94 eagle talon 2.0 non-turba that i just replaced the head gasket in and for some reason the car is having starting issues when it warms up, it stalls when put into gear and the Rad fans don't...

Look at the coolant temp sensor,it tells the relays for the cooling fans ,to turn on the cooling fans, and has to do with the lean, and enrichment of the engine, engine performance.

Can't locate the starter on my 1994 Eagle Talon

You'll need to look under your vehicle and along side the transmission you should see it. If you don't know what you are looking for as far as a description then you can Google "eagle talon starter" and find a picture on one of the offered matches.

i would check the coil or, distributor unit and wires then, i would also check the battery for weakness. if the batt is fine, check the starter and wires that lead to the starter as well. sometimes the starter wires can jiggle themselves loss at times. hope that helps ya and thx for using fixya:)
