Yellow oil can lit means you need to top up the oil. Red oil can means you have lost oil pressure.

Is this a diesel engine? If so let the dealer do this service as the air must be purged from the system.

Changing transmission oil in toyota hiace 2003

remove the bottom drain plug and allow the oil to drain out. replace the plug tight
on the side of the box about 1/2 way up and a bit to the front ( mostly on the lhs of the box there will be another plug
remove and put the oil in there ( use a oil syringe of squeezable plastic bottle with a plastic tube attached) add oil until it starts to run out of the hole.
allow excess to drain out then refit the plug tight

The yellow symbol with a line under it means only to warn you if the engine oil level is low when its running. If its RED sign then this is your low engine oil pressure warning light.
