Question about 2001 Ford Windstar
There is a electrical device that opens and closes the secondary intake runner trottle plates. Can you tell me what this part is called and what is involved in changing this part. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org thanks Eli
It is called theIntake Manifold Runner Control actuator. (IMRC) Depending on what type of upper intake you have, you may or may not have to take the upper plenum off to access the actuator. Just unplug it and take out the 2 bolts that hold it on. Hope this helps.
