My car's morning start; 10 mile drive to office in morning and drive back in evening are always fine, but if I drive even couple of miles in evening, it cuts out on the road intermittently. The car starts fine after it has stopped but after a mile or so it cuts out again. Then after every start it dies out. Only after keeping the car shut for 5 mins or so allows it to start correctly for some time and then drive for some more time without issues. This is happening to me nearly everyday since a month now. I showed it to a shop and they suspected transmission failure. Hard to believe since the car easily runs for some miles everyday. I had a mass air flow code for which I got that fixed by getting it cleaned. I even went for the fuel system cleaning to ensure that the gas supply is fine and the car is not dying because of irregular fuel supply. Please help.

Cleaning a mass air flow sensor is often just a temporary fix. Since the car did well for a few days after cleaning it, that means you likely have found your problem. Mass air flow sensors are very sensitive electronic devices and a cleaning can sometimes be misleading. Some even have a slight film coating on it to protect it from contamination and the solvents in some cleaners will remove that protective coating. After few drive cycles it becomes contaminated again the problem comes back.

Recently had oil changed. Soon after, oil light started coming on w. alarm sound. We check oil and it's always full. Stops if I shift to neutral, resumes dinging when I shift back into drive.

I would suggest you have the oil pressure checked with a manual gauge. It sounds to me like you might have a restriction at the sump tube and your engine has low oil pressure.

When i start the engine i have like a white smoke behind me is just huge.i drive a toyota land cruiser 2006 manual gearbox.i don t know what is the problem?is happen in every morning and 4 max 10 sec all...

smoke indicates a weak engine, if it is only at start or beginning few minutes of driving then hopefully it is rings only which is weakened and needs replacement, as per your note it seems only at start and the vibration is it only at cold start and what about if after running a more then 5 miles even you stop the car and start in few second does it still vibrate or no, please let me know

In my 1998 saturn the idiot light keeps coming on for the temperature gauge. The temperature gauge stays normal, the car runs fine. No visible leaking. Do I have a bad head gasket? Its has 170 k miles

Is your temperature gauge ALWAYS at half way? Even in the mornings whenever you crank it up? Please reply cause i also drive a saturn and can just about fix anything on these cars lol

1997 mpv mini van runs great. While traveling i drove from SC to Atl GA....parked and went into motel for evening...the next morning i had very difficult time getting it re started....Like it was not...

I think you should check your battery and alternator. If they both check good you may have a battery draw, something draining the battery over night.Check your doors make sure they are closing like they should.
