Question about 1992 Oldsmobile 88
The crank sensor is behind the harmonic balancer. Not too hard to replace, the harmonic balancer is supposed to come right off but I needed a big 2-jaw puller to get it off.... accessed through the wheel well.

If you are asking about the cam sensor it is easy to replace, passenger side of engine on or near timing chain housing, however, if the cam sensor magnet is weak it too must be replaced, which involves removing the timing gear and chain
