Question about 1992 Nissan Maxima
Those transmissions do not have vacuum modulators on them,they are totally electronic actuated and controlled by the vehicle computer.The best starting point would be to have someone pull codes out of the vehicle,as this may lead to the problem area.It could very well be shift solenoids which mount on the valvebody,or it could be something external like a speed sensors.The ONLY way to know is pull the trouble codes out of the vehicle......this will pinpoint the problem area,or give you a hint at where the problem lies.Hope you get it,need more help,let me know.

I bought a 1995 nissan quest,There is a vacume line coming up from the transfer case,"it has been cut.Can you please tell me where it hooks up too.also the cruse control light comes on but it isnt working and i cant tell it the 4wd is kicking in.
