Question about 1998 Chevrolet C1500
You may have installed a bed that has a different wiring configuration than the older style. The electrical systems are very different from '81 to '98. You probably have a 3 or 4 wire system on the bed and the truck itself has a 2 wire system. Bad grounds are the biggest cause of electrical problems. Good luck
