Question about 1992 Buick LeSabre
You should be seeing a steady security light ligt up on the dash what you need to do is below the dask or where the old ignition switch is you should see two grey or white wires you will need to find out what the restiance of the chip was that was in your car before, then go to radio shack and put the resistor between the two wires

Might be the ignition switch itself. Problems with the ignition switch from my own experience I was told by a tecnician is the '92 Buick LeSabre is famous for them. However, it might also just be your battery. Have you tried to have someone jumpstart it? Might take a bit to actually jump it if the battery is pretty drained. If you can, then I would take it right to an AutoZone or someplace before anything else to make sure the battery is still good before you end up stranded somewhere.
