Http:// is the 91 manual. there's four lines that go to the rear steerng so you may have gotten things crossed.
Here's a thread about AWS Delete. you will also have to replace mechanical parts other wise your rear wheels will steer randomly on their own.

My power steering pump went out and I replaced it now its leaking somewhere else and it not the hose

Hello Jen, there are only a few places a power steering system can leak.
1, The pump itself
2. The feed hose
3. The return hose
4 The fluid reservoir
5. The reservoir hose(s)
6. The steering gear itself.
Now, its a simple job of elimination.
Do you have rack and pinion steering...there are several places a gear can leak also.
Please do some investigation. reply to me and we'll go from there.
I am considered a rack and pinion system expert.

Carborator fuel drain pontiac gto 1964 tripower

Have you ever seen a fuel drain on anything
but power equipment, small engines

I assume you have & are looking at a tripower
carb set up

Why would you need a drain?

I was around & had brand new 65 vette,327/365 carb

I never bought the 1964 GTO, because I wanted
the HI Pro 421 & it only went to the nascar & professional
super stock drag teams.

I have a 2004 Holden monaro and lately the steering has been getting very tight and makes a whining noise when i turn full lock. Today I am barely able to turn the steering wheel an the noise sounds even...

a few things will cause this to happen your power steering pump could be going out, the belt could

have stretched, this will happen with old age, make sure the belt is not brittle or has any cracks. the

belt could be slipping, or the belt tensioner may need to be replaced. one trick that i have learned and

i will pass it on to you. 1st disconnect the negative side of the battery. take a hard bar of soap any

cheap brand and rub it on the belt. if the belt has any cracks the soap will remove any noise if in fact

it is the belt. reconnect your negative. start your car. if the noise goes away just replace the belt.

good luck!

Rear end thumping noise

Depending on the year of your gto it could be a buggered CV joint on one of your back wheels. All GTO/3000GT are four wheel drive but up to the mid to late 90's they had four wheel steering. The usual symptoms of a buggered CV joint are loud rattling and/or vibrating from the affected wheel at around 30 - 40 mph and often a loud clunk when cornering at low speed
