Wipers im tryn to take my old windshield wipers off my car to put new ones on, but theyre not trying to come off! my car is a 92 olds 88.. im guessn these are the originals, idk, but while youre answering ill be tryn ot pull them off. thx

pull fuse and relay to wipers --multi switch or another wire in harness shorting and burning so to prevent more damage spreads -ignition failure-air bag deploy or vehicle burns up and start repair asap or have a shop do it
Your wiper motor is not for this model or its faulty ,but do check this out and no its not a fancy web site ,now gain access to the motor then disconnect the central drive and then put the wiper arms in the correct position for park now reconnect the drive arm .This is what happens in a lot of modern garages ,they employ 18 yr olds for cheap labour with no skilled supervision ,all these lads want to do is walk around with laptop under arm and clean fingernails .makes my old ticker race just thinking about all this and my ulcer start hurting ,get so much incompetence from garages in within the questions i answer on here .

I pretty sure he or she meant the wiper "transmission".
You can purchase a new transmission from the dealer or call a local salvage yard and see if they have one that will fit your vehicle.
I checked on-line and found a new one for $60.

any gm olds , buick caddy, pont, 4speed auto up to 1991 u just got make sure theyre not computer controlled some 91 are n some aint stay away from 84 to 88 they had failures it doesnt really matter about engine size as along its same transmission
