Hi, when you replace all of that did you put the cooler on the power steering lines , If not check and see if yours have one car, it is mount on the center support where your rack and pinion is mounted. if you down have on you need to get one there is a tsb on all caravans for this problem .Then you have to bleed power steering system. Thanks if i can help further re post.

I have a 2002 dodge caravan sport with a 3.3 engine and my power steering resovoir is empty and a puddle of power steering fluid on the ground. what is the cost and repair

Hard to guess the cost until we know the component that has failed. It could be; power steering pump, resevoir, hoses, presure switch, or steering rack. Some one will have to climb under there and see which one it is.

The most exspensive one is the steering rack which would cost about 1000.00 - 1200.00 to replace and it requires the vehicle get an alignment when the job is finished.

2005 dodge caravan, leaking power steering fluid(rack n pinion), i am using lucas power steering stop leak. How long can i go with(lucas) before i replace the rack? fluid is not leaking anymore...

I really wouldn't push it more than 3 months or especially if climate change once the leak stop has stopped the leak it doesn't like temp change. but i've done radiator stop leak from Lucas and went 6 months before the leak appeared again. good luck

Leaking power steerring fluid. Garage said replace

thats about right, but a 2005 needing a rack, it is possible but i would get a second garage to look , take it somewhere else, dont tell them you were told it needs a rack, just tell them you have a p/s leak. this way you have two estimates and you will know for sure its the rack.hope this helps.

2003 Dodge Grand Caravan Front Noise

I had the same problem, my mechanic has had this same problem with other 2003 grand caravans. Flush the power steering fluid, replace it with ATF+4 and add Lucas power steering additive. Apparently dodge has posted the fluid that was originally used is causing this problem. $100 and it is purring like a kitten
