You can try this...first...unhook the negative battery cable..then using needle nose pliers or hemostats you can press the two terminals on the fuse block for each terminal together to increase the tension on the fuse

Windows switches won't work intermittently then fuse blows so car won't start

It appears that you have a dead short in the switch, ehich would be like touchin teo wires together. Repkce of switch should solve problem,

My car won't start. The battery is good and the starter is doing it's job. The fuel filter has been replaced. The car will start with starter fluid and run when revved but won't start o

check fuel pump fuse and relay also the fuel injection fuse and ecu fuse, if they are ok remove the back seat and you will see a cover remove the cover and check for voltage at the pump plug and ground, you hear the pump work if not need new pump

My car doors and truck want open with the push of the button from the key ring. The worst is that after I reach 45 mph my car starts choking and shaking. I have to speed up to 50mph to stop it from...

I had a similar problem, when i would press the gas pedal down X%, the car would shake, and kinda do a "Pop pop pop pop pop" noise.. (NOT a backfire, like a light popping noise), ended up being a tiny air leak in a hose.. Fixed that.. 6 mo. later, a gasket in the throttle body had sprung a leak (Leak of air pressure), and the car is doing this again.. feels like its gonna stall, and does it when i accelerate fast, or go over 60.. This is all because jaguar uses digital gas pedals (VS "Drive by wire"). if this is it, its a easy, cheap fix.
Just start the car, and put your ear towards the engine (With the hood up.. watching out for moving parts), listen for a hissing noise.. Your car should not hiss at all.

Battery works - I get nothing when I turn the key to start it.

It may be the neutral safety switch. Turn the key while moving the clutch in and out...see if anything pops.. Check for a fuse on the safety switch...should have something noted in the owners' manual.. The n.safety switch is the place to start.
