turn off radio hold # 1 and 6 buttons in turn on radio let loose buttons wright down numbers displayed call honda give vin and numbers and they run through system and get code
remove the battery terminal to clear the radio, then reinstall the cable, with the key on and the radio off hold down buttons #1 and #6 while turning the radio on, this will give u the serial # of the radio and u can give it to any dealership and they can give u the 5 digit radio code, If they wont just give it to me and I can help you.
Hi, check the service log book, the previous owner may have written the code there.
The only other way to get the code is to take your car to the local Honda dealer.
Hope this helps.
you will need the radios serial number which is located on top of the unit itself. Then take that number and any Honda dealer will be able to give you the new code. Sometimes it is on a sticker with your owners manual. i am still a tech and we run into this all of the time on Hondas.
Most hondas have the code on the vehicle itself for resetting the code once the battery has been disconected or radio removed. Try pulling the glove box out and looking on the inside of the cavity. You should not need a code to remove the radio the alarm should not go off, it is the installation. The radio will not work with any other --vehicle without your specific code, good thieves know this and would rather steal the whole car. "Especially the Honda Accord. Have one in the garage and a 2005 Pilot.
