ok......one question is you say when you start to drive, so I assume that at idle, standstill, there is no abnormal noises...even when you rev the engine.......its only when you drive and accelerate ?????
If you step on the gas and the engine accelerates but the car doesn't then that's slippage.
If you press the brake at a stop while you step on the gas you can determine the stall speed of your torque converter, if the engine revs beyond the stall speed then it's the torque converter clutch, TCC clutch solenoid, or a bad converter. Otherwise you need a professionals help.
Your cheapest venue to take is to change the fluid and filter in the tranny. Look at the small magnet in the pan and see if there are large amounts of metal fillings(small amounts are normal) try it after reassembly. Good luck, Dana
could possibly be a dirty fuel filter, or the fuel pump could be getting ready to go bad, could be alot of things. engine does not rev up when it is coasting and you are giving it gas?
vacuum leak......bad tps.......bad mass airflow meter system........any of those are suspect...... also check for bad ground at battery to be sure all is not computer freak out from bad readings ...good luck
