How can I replace the cabin air filter of my Olds Alero yr 2000?

The cabin filter is located under the black plastic covering the wiper mechanics on the passenger side. The wiper arm has to be removed and the plastic plate going across has to be raised slightly to reach the filter. The cabin air filter is located under the windshield wiper cover on the passenger side of car open your hood to see the access panel. Gently remove the filter housing retainer clips or screws and remove the filter, gently tap the filter, if you see dust falling from the air cleaner it is filled to capacity and needs to be replaced.------------------This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.
