Question about Kia Optima
I got one July 6, and on July 7 the dash problem lights came on, battery oil and ck engine.
2004 they had a recall on the fuel system.
Dealership in Carson also tried to tell me about the gas cap issue, the service manager apparently wasn't going to have a successful life unless he read the gas cap to me three times. I doubt he would have been that completely condescending to someone that wasn't female. He accused me of opening up the cap, even though he was told that the only persons that touched the car fluids were the dealership employees.
Even though they don't have a recall on the car, any recall action would probably have to be a class action suit so there would have to be a few people complaining.
Their headquarters are in Irvine CA.
The lemon law, I think means that you can have two of the same incident, documented, two other problems, and the car in the shop for 30 days - but I'm not certain how many of these events have to happen so you might want to look up the website for lemon law.
It will now be July 10th with NO information from the dealership, and I am without a NEW car.
If you find a successful remedy, please feel free to send me an email.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
