Well my first question is, if you changed the distribuitor, did you make sure that the timeing is correct? Its possible that the timing is 180 degrees off, which can cause the problem your experiencing. That would be my first suggestion.
My second suggestion is fuel regulator, or a clog in the fuel line somewhere.

could be a bad tps sensor or such, the only way to tell is to get the engine hooked uo to a real time analyser and monitor sensors and actuators under running conditions, and yes a sensor can be bad without setting a code

Engine runs but sputters when put in gear

Sounds like leak in high pressure side of turbo to inlet manifold tube.
Results in gutless or no performance but idle & revving in neutral ok.
Check for splits or loosened joints.

p1545 is a throttle control malfuction code

You can try to reset the throttle body by opening the hood and drivers door then turning your key to the accessory position. You will hear the throttle body whir and click. It may take up to two minutes. Afterward, the car will relearn your habit of driving and adjust accordingly.

My Nissan 200sx when I step on the gas it cuts out

The the airflow meter can shut off the car completely, it can also stop the car from reving over 2000rpm "limp mode" to save the engine from getting un-measured amounts of fuel.
