Question about 2004 Ford F350
Im looking at buying an 04 f350 supercrew with a 6.0. I have heard they were having a lot of problems with the 6.0. Is this true?
I own one of these trucks that I bought new in '04. The only issues I have had up to this point is the factory recalls which were handled promptly and professionally. Two were for wireing harness issues in the engine compartment and one for a possible bad gear in the Automatic transmission. I personally have had no problems before or after the recall issues were resolved. My truck was manufactured in June of '04 and I did hear from my local dealership and others that the trucks manufactured in late '03 and early '04 did have some problems. I really like my truck! I hope this helps, John

Yes, they do like to prematurely blow head gaskets. They have problems with the fuel pumps. They also have issues with prematurely wearing out hub assemblies.
