In your wiring harness you have a brown wire, that is your tail and marker lights. The green wire is your right turn. And the yellow wire is your left turn. Don’t forget to add a ground wire. If you are installing a brake controller, run a blue 10 gauge wire to the trailer plug.

1993 ranger supercab charging guage remains high all the time. When not started for a few days the battery will die.

Seems that you have a power drain. If you installed any electronics check to see if the wire has an open section that is bleeding the system.
Check to make sure that when the glove box closes the light in side goes off. A sprung glove door will keep the light on and will drain a battery in about 3 days.
If you put a trailer hitch on the truck make sure that the grounding is done correctly. Lighting harness to trailer, trailer to truck. A poor ground will cause the electrical leak and drain the battery if the trailer in attached for a few day, less than 3.

1993 ford ranger. when you turn on left turn signal front light burns steady and back light does't burn. tested for power and had power. bulb is good. right side works fine.

Although you say you tested it for power, and the bulb is good, I am almost certain it you change the bulb it will work. The one at the back. Take the one from the right side and try it in the left. Then you'll know. If there is still nothing and your test light shows power, it has to be a bad ground wire. If you have an aftermarket trailer plug on that thing, that will be another place to look.

When I hook up a trailer to my 2005 Ford Ranger I get all the clearance lights blinking when I signal,It looks like the power is feeding back through a ground circuit. is there a converter box that that...

Sounds like the trailer is wired wrong what type of trailer (home made) Or yes yo may need a convertor if your signal lights on the truck are independent from brake lights you probably have orange signal lights on the back of the ranger?

The same with me.

Look at the grounds somewhere there is a ground that is out of place. More than likely it on the harness, not in your truck.

Trailer lights stop working when tow vehicle lights are turned on

Pull all of the bulbs and try it using a tester to each light. I have seen a bulb that would contact both posts and kill the lights. Hope this helps. Mike

Installing a 7-pin trailer towing recptical on a 1991 Ford F150.

I believe you can look up the manufacturer of the trailer plug kit and find the wiring diagram there. On alot of the trailer plug kits, they have pics and diagrams in the package. The 7 pin plug (truck side) is available with the pig tail set up that plugs directly into the wiring harness for the lights. Then all you would have to worry about is the 2 wires for the electric brakes.

the fuse box is inside the pickup under the drivers side dash, there is a flasher which is the round one in the fuse box, it controls turn signals and emergency flashers also in the same fuse box, there is a 15 amp fuse which controls just the turn signals it sits vertical instead of horizontal.
