The back up warning system is not working , Just get the audible 3 sec signal when selecting R
It is probably your reverse aid module, I have gone through 2 of them. It happens to the x type also. I would love to start a campaign with Jaguar to have them do a recall. It is a dirty secret that is very expensive.

Same problem . I get the 3 sec. warning when rev. is selected but no warning when getting close to obstacle when backing up. Mine is an 04 "S"
