How do u change the front signal bulbs on SRX 2004 with out taking the whole car apart???

Nope don't need to drop the whole light assembly. I just took the wheel and inner cover off, then the 6 torx screws that hold the light hosing together , replaced the turn signal bulb and good to go!!

The socket is defective?? Probe the socket with a volt meter to see if voltage is turning on and off to trigger the bulb to flash.

Front turn signal bulb replacement 2008 SRX . Jack up car & block . Remove front wheel & front half of the wheel house assemble. There are about 7 plastic pull rivets that have to be removed . Pull out the wheel house . Remove turn signal & driving light cover held on by 6 # T10 torx screws . Twist out socket & replace bulb # 3757NAK . Should take about 45 min.

need to remove front wheel and panel from the inside.

i just had to replace mine. you have to take jack the car up. take the tire off. remove all clips and remove the rubber guards (whatever they are called). you then have to remove some star shaped screws behind the light. you just keep taking stuff off until you see the light!! i took it to the dealer at first but they were going to charge me $180 to change a $5 bulb. absolutely ridiculous. They gave me a print off with step bu step instructions but i lost it. I hope this helps.

newer high voltage electrical systems can burn out bulbs as often as every few months. 2 years is certainly no problem.

Should be able to open the hood remove plastic headlight cover & pull pins (2) on light assembly whole light assembly will pull out then replace turn signal.

wow i feel sorry for you because Cadillac designed this bulb to be a don't get to bulb but OK here's what you do take the bottom cover off or skid plastic panel under neath the front end theirs little plastic clips holding it on just get come dikes and don't cut them but just use it to help pull them out. after you get that off use a flash light and locate your light housing you should see two screws holding the house in i think those screws are 8mm i cant remember remove those two screws and be careful the metal from the bumper cuts you pull the light housing out and remove all the screws around the housing and open the housing up replace the bulb and make sure your contact to the bulbs clean and then reassemble the way you took apart. if you cant get it well then best bet is take it somewhere i know Cadillac charges an arm and a leg so you can go somewhere else.

You must take the front wheel off, then remove the inner front fender panels (2), they are fastened with plastic pushbuttons. this exposses the light housings for the turn and fog lambs. This takes about an hour, but saves you alot of money.

In your manual on page 5-53 it states how to change the bulb out
for the turning signals - we had the drivers side out. Gave it to our mechanic and had it completed in about 2 hours.
