It does not have a control modual. It is controlled mechanically. I ran into a problem that I thought a control modual would fix, but I now have to look elsewhere with the same vehicle.

Before replacing electronics, try a good healthy trans fluid and filter change. A partially clogged trans filter will increase pressures causing your lock-up converter to disengage.

What is the standard fuel use in Cadillac devill 4.6 north star means in 100m how many gallons gasoline will use?

Gas mileage depends on several factors.
Average for a 2003 model is 17 city and 27 highway.
So if you combine those numbers, you could expect an average of 22 mpg which would be 4.5 gallons in 100 miles.

I have got a 2005 Equinox and I'm getting horrible fuel mileage ! Like 7mpg in the city and 17 to 21 mpg on the highway , I've put new tires , battery , original equipment spark plugs and wires and still...

There are many things that could conspire to rob mileage. My first thought was possible transmission slippage. Although your city rating is horrible, the highway mileage is just a little off. 23-25 hwy is correct, 23 for lousy doped California gas, and 25 elsewhere. My guess is that you have slippage but above 45 mph, you are still getting advantage once the converter lock takes effect in overdrive. Just slippage until you reach that lock point.
Start with a full diagnostic of all stored codes in the ODB II computer, both for the engine and the transmission, then an evaluation of your transmission from a good shop.
Good luck, the Equinox is a darned good car,and worth the effort.

Why does my new hyundai sonata hybrid getting 27 mpg.

it does depend on the type of driving you do, and break-in is a factor for a new car-mileage will be lower until the car is fully broken in (3-5000 miles), and if you do more highway driving than stop-and-go it will affect your gas mileage.

What does the torque converter solenoid do

the torque converter clutch solenoid is kind of like the clutch in a manual transmission. automatic transmissions inherently have a little slip in the transfer of power between the engine and transmission, since the transfer of power is done with fluid instead of a mechanical clutch. however, when the car is in overdrive and cruising, the TCC solenoid acts like a clutch and locks up the torque converter, making a mechanical connection and eliminating the slippage. when you accelerate or downshift, it turns off. if this switch hangs up, when you come to a stop, the car will bog down just like a manual trans would if you don't push in the clutch pedal

Computer fuel consumption indicator randomly displaying numbers

This is a potential solution but if you are traveling down the highway and take your foot off the gas (or if you are on cruise no gas is required to maintain your speed) then the instant mpg calculation is similar to this 60 MPH / 0.0 GPH so effectively you end up with infinite gas mileage. But because the motor has to idle it's always using a little gas so it puts a very small number for the denominator which ends up giving you a high MPG. I've seen this happen in many makes of cars and I don't think it's anything to worry about.
