No fuel injectors, intermittently

My 94 lumina z34 will quit after a short time, and sometimes not start at all. I have tracked it down to be not getting a cam speed sensor signal. I have changed the sensor, traced the wires back to the engine module, and even changed the engine module. Right now the engine will not get any fuel, the injectors are not working. I have checked the fuel pressure, ect, with no help at all.

With the key on, do you have voltage at fuel injector, use a test light?
Engine cranking do you have spark at the spark plugs? I'm just trying to see if you have more than one problem? I don't know how much testing you have done?
Is there a purple wire with white tracer at ignition module, Engine cranking, there should be a dc pulse on that wire? If not, the computer won't ground the fuel injectors. In my opinion.

SOURCE: crank no start 94 chev lumina

Hmm, been a while since I played with one of them, but I do recall a simular problem. Try this,,, locate your ECM that you replaced, find the orange wire, and trace it back. I have found breaks in this wire in different places, mostly in the harness running under the rad support. The orange wire is a power wire for the ECM.

Troubleshoot 1999 montecarlo z34 sometimes won't start sometimes it will

When it will not start is the engine cranking over but no firing up? If so when this happens check the fuel pressure at the engine test nipple on the fuel rail that supplies the fuel injectors, if no fuel pressure you either have a bad fuel pump or the fuel pump relay is defective and sticking open. Also a burned connector to the fuel pump at the fuel tank can cause this.

96 Lumina 3.1 won't start. It runs when I spray starting fluid in the throttle body. It has 42psi fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Is it bad injectors?

It is not bad injectors, it is lack of injector electrical pulse, never would all the injectors fail at once. See if you have 12 volts (use a 12 volt probing test light, avail at any auto parts store for less than $5) to one wire of the two wire connector of each injector with the ignition key in run position. If the test shows no hot wire at the injector connectors then check fuses marked ECM1 and ECM2 in the under-hood fuse block. If they are popped then you have a shorted harness or component.

My Blazer is bucking and eventually stalling. However, it starts up right away again and then stalls a short time later but will start again right away. I had the gas line replaced but there was no fuel...

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? If you have the spider fuel system, that system is known for problems. I'd probably use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Could be other issues? Intermittent can be a pain to track down.

I have a 1992 chevy lumina z34, its not getting fuel to the injectors or the injectors or opening. I have fuel pressure. up to where you check for pressure on the fuel rail. it just died when I was driving...

Have you checked that engine oil level is okay, if so check that oil pressure switch is good. The switch is usually bypassed to start the engine, but it won't run with no oil pressure indicated...hope this helps

94 LuminaAPV wont start --Sometimes

When you replaced the ECM, did you use a nice coating of di-electric grease? That helps distribute the heat from the ecm so it doesn't over heat. Also check your ignition wiring going from the battery to the ignition switch. Check for any loose or broken connections. A local shop can help you find wire shorts BUT BE ADVISED, Most shops charge a $70 an hour fee to diagnose electric problems. Thats not to fix, only find problems. I highly recommend a self search first.

Intermentantly stops running at stop lights

a very common problem .you have 6 fuel injectors that are like tiny electrical solenoids.with a resistance of about 12.4 ohms.there is probably one that is not ohming out correctly probably around 7.5ohms or so .please take to a trusting shop so each injector can be ohmed out.if low they will have to replace the bad injector or injectors.when they become lower resistance they will short out and shut off the injector driver in the computer then it will stall some times wont start back right away!

Lumina APV

When's the lst time a major tune up was complete? You may just need some maintenance. When I say major I mean the following Spark plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, pcv vlave, check the EGR valve and replace if needed, and inspect/replace drivebelt(if needed). I had an EGR clog on mine and it would lose alot of power, sometimes stall. Also check that your fuel injectors are working proply. You should have a nice cone spray of fuel coming out. You will also want to make sure that your spark plugs are correctly gapped. Your local auto supply store should be able to tell you the correct gap.
Hope this helps.
