1988 toyota crissada, runs hot, idles to high.going 5 miles per hour and speedomter say 130 mile per hour, has very little power.

While the engine runs hot there is a possibility that the RPM sensor goes off and shows the wrong reading. First of all check the cause for the overheatting before we can go further.
Some tips were given in your earlier request.

My prelude wiil not accelerate past 30 to 40 miles per hour, starts fine, idles fine run fine beloww about 30 or 40 mikles per hour, does not really miss but will not accelerat past 30 or 40

Generally the symptoms say the catalytic converter is clogged, you can't get any air out so you can't pull any air in, and the age of the vehicle says so too. Look and see if it has ever been replaced.

First things I would look at is,did they put 10w30 oil in and not 5w20 or 0w20,it makes a difference in mileage (if they run out of the correct viscosity oil they WILL put in what they have).
Did the service include a spark plug change? Is the spark plug gap correct?
Did they do a brake service? Is a brake dragging,a little to tight?Did they clean the throttle body?Maybe the engine was running a little lean before and now is at the proper fuel mixture, with less MPGs but running clean at the exhaust.
Weather conditions?Head winds and colder temps reduce MPG.

RPM still a lil high after engine swap

With an idle control problem like this, you need to check for codes. One possibility is a code 14 Electronic Air Control Valve failure. Remove the connector at the valve and measure the resistance at the valve terminals. If the resistance is not 8-15 ohms, replace the EACV. Another problem could be with codes 1, 41, or 43, which pertain to the O2 sensor, which could have been affected by running the engine with no exhaust system. Try resetting the codes by removing the back up (Clock) fuse in the relay box under the hood for ten seconds. One more thing to check is for code 10 Air Temperature Sensor (TA). Resistance across the TA terminals should measure from 1000 to 4000 ohms.

1990 Honda Prelude 2.0 si F.I. Idle Fluctuation

This problem is a little bit hard to coz you need to check the following throttle body, fast idle valve & the IACV valve. First the throttle body it must fully closed during idle and the TP sensor voltage must be 0.5 volt. The fast idle valve is wax type there is a 2 small hose pass below of this valve, if the coolant water is not circulating the valve will not closed. You can check it by touching the lower portion of this valve after 1 min. Regarding the IACV you can check if this is the fault by removing the hose connecting the throttle body and air filter. there is 2 small hole near the opening of the throttle body, while the engine is running at idle close one by one and see which one cause this problem.I hope this will give help to your problem.
