The thermostat is on the driver side in the middle of the motor you will see the housing after you remove the air box hose.

Need to locate and replace the water pump on 1997 nissan sentra.


The water pump is located on the passanger side of the engine. Look right below the timing chain cover and there is a pully and belt on the water pump. You will have to remove the water pump and thermostate together then seperate them after you get them off the car. I would recommend replacing the thermostate also (cheap fix). You will have to remove the belt and pully before you can remove the water pump. Hope this helps....

Some fault code is stored in the PCM (computer); to know what is the problem, I suggest scanned the PCM with some scanner reader codes. Autozone or AutoShop with this tools sometimes make this for free.

1997 ford escort wagon with a/c: Cannot find the EVAP cannister purge valve. Manual says "right side rear of engine compartment," but I don't see anything there that looks like it.

My 1997 350 5.7 liter chevy suburban is over heating so i replacedthe thermostat and the water pump and now it is over heating even faster am i forgetting to do some thing ?


i have a 1995 chevy 5.7 350 out of a suburban in a 86 chevy pick up an its over heating i done replaced water pump,thermostate,radiator,all new fluids an replaced clucth fan to striaght fan an its still over heating an no bubbl;es in radiator either can sum one please help me fig this out please
