92 isuzu rodeo pig tail wires touched and shorted out put new fuses brake light switch and relay still no brake lights and only half fuse panel under hood is firing

automatic or stick shift???????????????????

firing? what is or is not firing?

please post the full story.
pig tails where.?
what started all this. fiddling.?
no brake lights. got that , was this the beginning? problem
ok ill give you the schematic, (mitchells has it , 24/7 so can you)
if you short wires, fuses will blow. or far worse.
here it is, very very simple system,
fuse, switch wires and bulbs.
see that 1st red wire below switch
step on switch it goes to 12vdc and fuse must not blow.
if fuse blows, that line is shorted.
its that simple
but finding shorts I use a circuit breaker device
and ammeter, to find it, (ask if tools can be bought)
lacking tools, only inspecting ever inch of red wire is a cure.

Eec engine fuse blowing. is the red injector wires supposed to be reading an engine ground in a continuity test with multimeter?

red wires are normally hot or power wires and if going to ground then that is a short that will blow fuses

Ford explorer fuses keeps popping for brake switch

To start with, it is impossible to look the wiring diagrams up or check to see what circuits the fuse protects if you do not mention WHICH fuse is blowing. It would also be very helpful to mention WHICH ENGINE and what type of TRANSMISSION your truck is equipped with because the wiring diagrams are different.

Also, WHAT grounds have continuity? Continuity to WHAT??? If you are trying to fix a fuse that keeps blowing, WHY are you checking GROUNDS??? Why do you have the brake switch off? It is not necessary to remove the brake switch to see if it is working.

I have no idea what "hot" you are talking about. The hot from the brake pedal switch? The two wires on the brake pedal switch on a 2000 Ford Explorer are LIGHT GREEN and LIGHT GREEN/RED...I have no clue what "blacks" you are talking about.

Try to make a little sense here and I will see if I can help you.

PCM fuse keeps blowing

It's possible you ran the battery down, trying to start? Have to make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. If battery is down, have to use a charger and get it charged, we can't test anything if battery is down.
I did look at power distribution wiring diagram for your vehicle, I found pcmB fuse--20 amp. Two fuse legs goes to pcm, the other goes to load side of fuel pump relay. If I had to guess, I'd say the fuel pump has a problem. If the wiring before the fuel pump relay or the pcm was the problem, then the fuse would blow as soon as soon as you plug it in. The fuse circuit shows to be hot all the time. Just my opinion. There might be other issues, but, I can't track it from where I am.

92 ford explorer battery drains power while sitting I put a test light between pos post and pos cable while truck is turned off test light glow I pull the eec relay fuse and the light goes out can anyone...

You may have considered this ... arrange a volt/ohm meter like you did the light ... set it up for amps ... there should be some reading ... remove the fuses one at a time, until the meeter reads zero amps. When it gets to zero, you are almost home. Explore that circuit to find your trouble.

EEC relay fuse keeps blowing id put a new fuse in the truck it would run for about 10 seconds then blow the fuse again.

There are 3 relays mounted below the fuse box .
The green I believe is fuel pump relay and the brown is EEC. The third relay is for the A/C WOT.
It is possible the wiring is shorted, check there, it is also possible you have a bad fuel pump.
Please let me know what you find.

EEC fuse: 1992 ford explorer

sounds like you have a bad relay that is shorted out or you might have a bad fuel injector shorting out fossible fuel pump wireing short do some probing aroun with the multi meter try to find direct short , use the process of elimination .
now let me see does your truck start up and run then fuse blows? is the fuse the correct amperage check your owners manual to see how long does it run before blowing fuse ? when its running is it running smooth while is running?
