This can be one of several things from my experience or something I have no idea about, but easiest thing to check first.
Have you checked your battery cable? Best way to know if this is the problem is having someone jiggling the connection a bit while trying to start it. I had my starter changed which they have to unhook the battery for and they didn't tighten it up enough and it worked itself loose. My car which is same as yours was doing the same thing. I had to keep jiggling the connection and driving 2 minutes, stopping in middle of road and do it again all the way to get back to them cuz I didn't have the tools to tighten it.
If its not the battery, it may very well be your starter as I had pretty much the same reaction where it would die and I would have to get a jump or wait to be able to restart. which is why I had to change that in the first place. I could run it for a few minutes then it would die and I couldn't for a bit then I could later, or could if I got a jump start.
Then, there's the battery itself that could be bad. You can have that tested at any AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts for free. Your battery may be going bad, they can tell you if it is. If you have a warranty on it then would be an easy enough thing to fix.
Last suggestion, which I pray its not. The alternator is going bad and draining the battery. If it doesn't get fixed soon and your battery isn't messed up enough from trying to make it run, it will soon ruin your battery too. But it is the most expensive out of those to deal with.
