Sounds like seals are worn, check with local body shop they'll be able to tell by looking.

If you want a cheap, easy, or temporary fix, try gluing in some of the window insulating tape that is used to seal drafts out during the winter. You can usually find it in different colors at the hardware store. My Dad did this once with an old Delta 88 that he had given me. The car had no reverse and wind that came in the windows. To me, having this ugly beast as a first car, it was a Beauty, which I consequently named it. But it was more like a beautiful mess! And it did last me 2 years, so Dad's fix worked just fine. Ah, how I wish I had that car now!

Whistling sound coming from right rear

Checking Window Seals - The window seals (weather stripping) in your car are used to seal the water and wind for entering the passenger compartment. When these seals fail from damage or are eroded by the weather they can allow wind noise to enter the passenger compartment. This failure can cause a whistling noise as the car is driven. Some noises are only present when the vehicle is driven at certain speeds such as 55 MPH. These whistling noises can be difficult to find since you are driving at the time. Have a passenger help with the diagnosis by running their hand along the area the noise is being generated from. Once the noise source has been located replace or repair the failed seal and recheck.

Can excessive wind noise be fixed on driver and passenger side front windows

There is a new service bulletin for a thicker run channel for the drivers side. I got mine fixed yesterday. Its better though not 100%. Definitely bring to dealer and have them do it. Techline at Kia knows about it.

At high speeds, I here a high pitched squeal coming from the passenger side dashboard. Its like the wind is reflrcting off something and it makes this annoying sound. Can you help me figure this out.

I'd check the passenger side mirror first, make sure it is tight to the window frame, no gaps. It causes a wind noise or whistle. It could be from the outside of the truck, try to pin point. Does noise go away with either window down? Does noise get louder turning in one direction (wheel bearing)? Does it get worse then seem better (could be tire noise)? Eliminate fan motor, and radio. Does it get worse with vehicle speed or just engine speed?

I have a 1998 toyota coroloa LE and the passenger side power door locks dont work . I would like to replace them. Also, the power window on the front driver and passenger side dont stay completly up and...

Hello. The power windows each need a new window motor assembly which includes a new track system. The advantage to the assembly is that it is very difficult to remove the motor and install a new one. the power door locks on the passenger side the most likely cause is the power door lock actuator, about a ten dollar part.

Window switch for driver control and passenger switch window

sounds like you have a passenger window motor problem. Try hitting the right door panel hard, down near the speaker opening and pushing the switch at the same time. If it moves, the motor windings are and needs to be replaced.
