The same size as the one you'll find in a truck at the self pick junkyard. Although .... trim screws tend to be the same size in any one application (to make assembly line work simpler) so you can usually take a nearby screw, try it, and if that's the one you can take it to a dealer or hardware aisle and find a match.

How do i remove the overhead console to repair the compass and temp display

There should be a single screw in the front of the overhead console. You may have to move the rear view mirror to be able to see the screw, but it should be fairly easily accessible. Once you remove the Phillips head screw, the console should snap off. Hold both sides with equal pressure and pull straight down. The console should snap off in 1 piece. Be sure to support it once it comes down because you'll still have the wires to disconnect. The wiring harness will be 1 single male/female clip with a push style clip on one side.

Once you get the console down, the LCD display unit will need a #10 hex head bit, I believe. But if you don't have one, you can send the entire unit in. I recommend the following repair...

Auto Clock Repair

Look on the website autoclockrepair.com for a pdf downloadable shipping invoice, print out and fill out the invoice, and make a check payable to Steve Titus, Auto Clock Repair in the amount of $36.95 for first class or $39.95 for priority shipping. Secure the console in a box, send it, and you'll have it back in about 7 to 10 days. Good Luck!!

How to remove overhead light console over rearview mirror?

Open up the sunglasses holder and there might be a screw holding it in place there. There is also another screw underneath the main body, just unsnap the cover plate to access it.

The entire console slide back away from the windshield about 1/2" once the screws are removed, then drops away.

2002 F-150 supercrew My coumpas-outside tem.quti working.Were is the fuse?

The overhead display is powered by the same circuit for the overhead console, so if the vanity mirrors still work, chances are the fuse is fine.

Just in case, push the button a few times, to make sure the display is not turned off.
The overhead displays have a chance of the surface mounted resistors becoming unsoldered over time.
You can get one at a junk yard, or if you are good with a soldering iron, you can reattach the surface mounted resistors. Pull the overhead console down, and remove the display ( T10 screws holding the display to the console ). There are 2 plastic tabs holding the display together, release these.
On the back of the circuit board, you are looking for a resistor that looks like this :

Looks like it is pretty easily removed.

Use a small screw driver and pry open the garage door opener storage bin. You will see 1 screw there that you will remove.
Pull the front of the overhead console down and remove the console from the console retaining clips.
