Question about Hyundai Sonata
Hi, the cause of the car door not opening maybe as a result a broken inner pull handle, or a faulty locking system? If it is the inner pull handle that is broken you can take it off with a screw driver then there is a rod with a 90 deg angle that catches on to the pull release, it unlatches the little clip holding it to the door pull, then pull the rod towards the front of the car this should get it open. You can then replace the door pull for 13 bucks or so. If this does not work first, then check the price and availability of the inner door cover at the junk yard and use a box cutter to cut open the inner skin (the end towards the keyhole) to gain access to the entire locking mechanism. Open your door from there, the replace the skin with the replacement you would have bought and that shold fix the problem...
You can get access to the service manual on this LINK....
