You need to talk to a body shop or a good welder. Your best bet is to shop around, theres no guess-timate without actually seeing what's needed.

How do i replace the cv joints on a 1998 isuzu rodeo?

I have a '97 Rodeo and attempted to change the cv joints myself. Unfortunately, they were assembled through brackets that were bolted to the frame, and could not just be pulled straight out without taking the brackets off. The bolts were extremely rusted and would not budge. I ended up paying a local garage to change them for me ( and I NEVER let a garage touch my vehicles) as it was impossible to tackle without car lifts and air compressor tools. Was well worth the $500 to pay someone else to change them.

Replacing the rear shock in a 1993 Cadillac Sevile and the top nut is rusted on. Any advice to get the nut off?

This is a very horrible problem, at least for me. The last time that this happened to me, I decided to cut the top of the shock absorber, since the nut was frozen in place, and you don't have a lot of space to work in there with some special sockets. So I would advice you to cut the very top of the shock absorber rod.
