on the 2000 Grand Caravan SE, the heater resistors have no screws. The assembly 'snaps' into the rectangular hole, and the only way to get it off - is to YANK it off!
It IS located on the passenger side under the hood, next to the strut tower on the back wall. It is a tan gray phenolic block with a black connector. Grab a hold of the edges and pry it off. There is no nice way of doing it! The new one just snaps into the rectangular hole...

Power reducer is burned out, usually located on the back of engine compartment small plate with 2 screws or small bolts and the heater fan wires go from this to the fan

Heater fan motoer only works on high setting?

many of the heater blowers use a resistor type switch to adjust the fan speeds, when the switch goes bad only the high speed will work. the resistor is usually located in the airflow in the heater box under the dash. find it , change it (it just plugs in) and it will work again

Heat/ac fan only blows on high

Check the heater control switch,,,,,and the number of wires at the heater motor....Some motors have more than one winding...in which case there will be three or more wires going into motor..there can be burnout in those windings and will require a new motor....check the plug which attaches to the motor....can be bad connection...or at the switch.....but if there is only two wires....then the heater switch uses resistors to slow down the different speeds...and direct connection for high speed....and the problem is definitely the switch...

HEATER FAN CONTROL DOWN TO 2 SPEEDS

The control is not the problem. Your blower motor resistor is burnt out on two fan speeds.
This is a high failure rate item that the factory has redesigned at least twice for this concern.

Location of low speeds heater fan fuse & switch. I do not have a owners manual.

the switch is on the dash with the other a/c controls. does the fan work at all? high speed OK? but the lower speeds dont work? if any speeds other than high dont work, replace the blower resistor.

Heat/AC Blower fan speed only works on High

Alot of people have the same problem with the fan switch and blown bulbs. There really is no fix for this. Jeep really screwed up when designing the heater control assembly. The cheapest solution is to buy another unit off Ebay. Can always go to the dealer but be ready to PAY for there mistakes.
