SOURCE: I have 2006 Trailblazer with

Hi, code P0300 means random cylinder misfiring, you have to check spark plugs and cables, Faulty coil (pack),Faulty oxygen sensor(s), Faulty fuel injector(s), Burned exhaust valve e.t.c
Code P0017 is the powertrain control module uses the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor information is to monitor the correlation between the crankshaft and the camshaft position sensors if the deviation exceeds a calibrated amount dtc poo17 will set. You have to see the dealer to have this updated.
Code P0014 is for the exhaust cam actuator timing system. There are a few things that can cause this. Anything from the actuator solenoid, to the actuator, to an internal engine problem.

My 2006 Trailblazer EXT LS gave a p0017 engine code. I replaced the camshaft sensor and it still has a rough idle and hesitates until you get up to 35mph. What should I do now?

Poo17 is for sensor b therefore you have a senor a on the cam as well and it maybe creating the problem. you need to check it as well. The code for cam senor a is poo16. If it runs rough when you start it you may have a bad idle air control or engine tem. control which tells the computer what the temp is outside and determines how much fuel is put into the engine. I would check the idle air control first.

How to change fule filter 2006 gmc envoy 4.2 inline 6 moter

OUCH! I have an 06 also. The filter is located INSIDE the gas tank on the fuel pump. We do not have an external fuel filter like earlier years of Envoys and Trailblazers do. My 04' has one outside the frame rail. But 06' is in the tank.
