Your heater doors aren't turning or are broken. check all fuses, even under the hood first. then test the actuator.to test the actuator which is on the driver side of the unit, close to the gas pedal turn the knob to the floor and then turn it to defrost and watch what happens. if it doesn't move, the actuator will have to be tested. if it moves, the door hook might be off. let me if this solved the problem or if we have to go further.
I did it on a 2001 last week.

How to remove oil pan in 2003 chevy silverado 2500 hd

You most certainly have to remove the motor mount bolts and jack up the engine to remove it. If exhaust passes under the pan you will need to remove it also.
Also unbolt the fan shroud as it has to move with the fan as you jack up the motor to clear the cross member.

2003 chevy silverado air does not blow through vents. Condenser works. Pipes are cold. Fan works. Modular (next to fan) repalced to get fan to work. Heater air conditioner controls under radio replaced....

The air vents are control by vacuum line and or linkage.

Listen for hiss or feel for vacuum leak under the dash,

Feel for broken linkage(s) that are close to the vents.

WORK BACKWARD if you have small hands to feel out where is the missing link.

Chevy steering wheel controls

You first have to disarm and remove the air bag (unscrews with bolts from behind the steering wheel) and then you will see the screws for the switches. Only the silverado awitches will work.
