1st check all of your wheel bearings. Jack up and check for the slightest wobble or grinding noise when you spin the wheel then tighten the steering box, loosen the nut and tighten the screw with a large screw driver as tight as you can, then tighten the nut

Hi maragato

it is possible your front wheels need to be balanced on a digital tyre balancer. There is a possibility that the rims are bent or distorted, common problem with suzuki jeeps

Gauge Info. display reads service stability system.

To start you have to run the codes from the stability control module, and once that's done then you can beging to look for the problem, only a tech II scanner can reset this module, also make sure all tires are the same size

Service stability system 2001

No. It has nothing to do with stability. The most common cause is generally the steering wheel position sensor however I would recommend having the system scanned for fault codes

2000 cadillac diville... Why does my service stability system come on only when it rains?

IT is probably set to wet weather conditions when you need maximum stability for driving. If in doubt talk to a caddy service person and have it explained.

Ford Focus 2009 2.0 TDCI - my stability control lit up saturday and had this checked at a local ford dealer. They said it was a battery providing low voltage. The battery was changed. Driving it home a...

Hello, I was noticing your Year model and you may have Warranty left, so the Dealer would be the place to go.

I would hope the Dealer checked your Charging system when they diagnosed the Battery problem. If this was not done, the new Battery would run down too.

You can get free scans at Autozone, Oreillys, an Advance autoparts. You should also ask for a Charging system check wherever you go in addition to the regular scan. Since this is Sunday, you could get this stuff checked out today and have the test results ready for the Dealer Monday.

The low Battery problem can cause false readings so the Dealer did not lie to you, just that the Battery happened to be low and there was really another problem with the Stability control. It is also likely the problem in the Stability control is drawing down the Battery.

I hope my solution is very helpful to you. If you model has an off/on button for Stability it may be wise to turn it off so the Battery stays charged.

What is the stability system of the car intended to do and why is it a problem if the warning light about the stability system is on?

The stability system of the vehicle is used to stabilize the vehicle in Turns. And say if you were driving and had to veer off the side becuase a car was stopped or somthing, as oppose to you loosing control it helps you maintain control of the vehicle.

The warning light is a problem with the stability system, could be a number of things. Thats somthing you dont wanna mess with on your own.

The service stability light is on

It pertains to just what it says STABILITY. Your vehicle has a system that will sense if you are coming around a curve at about 90 MPH. It will automatically apply a light amount of braking to the proper wheels, thus hopefully eliminating you and your Uplander from flying off curve. With the light on as with any warning light , you must assume whether its real or not, that the STABILITY system IS NOT operating. Significant computer / sensor diagnosis will be necessary. Hope this helps
