Question about Daewoo Leganza
Hi Daewoo Espero has a design fault on it steering. The fire on most of these cars crack where the steering goes through the bulkhead into the engine compartment. This results in the steering become sticky and later fails. This can be seen on right hand drive models by standing at the right wheel and looking to the left of the brake booster. You will see a rib section (below the break booster) running from the middle of the steering bulkhead to the inside of the left mud guard. If you let some one turn the steering wheel and this is the fault you would see that the rib has a crack in the corner where it meets the inside mud guard member. You will actually see the rib moving away from the inside mud guardin the corner where these two meet. I hope I make sense my English is not very good. This is a very serious fault and will cause your steering to fail. Hope this helped.
