You may have a coin stuck inside of the track in the rear. they are hard to see if you drop one in there, so look very closelly and slowly. I would be looking at that especially if you keep change in your pockets.

2009 Buick Lucerne, power driver seat won't adjust on seat or through memory button. Passenger seat works fine. Heater for both seats won't turn on. Checked fuses and relays, all ok

Your best bet , have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes first ! Electronic control modules involved ! Can't check with a OBD 2 code reader , need advanced scan tool . No codes , check B+ voltage and ground to the module .
Power Seat Inoperative (With Memory A45)
Memory Seat Feature Inoperative
Circuit/System Description
Battery voltage is supplied at all times to the memory seat module (MSM) from the MDL-MEM 10A fuse located in the rear fuse block. This voltage is used by the MSM for logic power and to supply battery reference voltage to the seat and lumbar adjuster switches. Battery positive voltage is also supplied at all times to the MSM from the PWR SEAT 25A circuit breaker. This voltage is connected to a power rail internal to the MSM and is used to drive the power seat motors, lumbar motors, and seat heater elements on vehicles equipped with heated seats. Each seat and lumbar adjuster motor is controlled by the MSM through 2 motor control circuits. The MSM connects all motor control circuits on the power rail to a common reference point whenever they are not in operation. This reference point is biased to approximately 2.5 volts. The MSM checks to see if the reference voltage is shorted to ground or battery before enabling any of the seat or lumbar motors.

Circuit/System Description
Reference voltage is supplied to the memory switch from the driver door module (DDM). When a memory switch is pressed, reference voltage is applied through the switch contacts, a series of resistors and thorough the memory switch signal circuit to the DDM. The door module then sends a serial data message to the memory seat module (MSM) indicating the memory recall request. The MSM then commands the appropriate seat motors to move to the pre-recorded seat positions stored in memory in response to the switch input.

I have a 2005 mercury montaineer. The drivers seat which is a power seat, will not go back all the way. It makes it half way and then nothing. Please help!!!

Most Ford products are designed so the seat belt latch by the center console moves with the seat. The bottom of the latch rides on the seat rail, and with time sometimes it builds up a little play on the rail. As the seat moves forward or back, the seat belt guide often tilts forward or back, just a bit, on the rail, and gets stuck. So you can move forward or back just a bit, but then it jams and you can hear the motor, but can go no further.

The long term fix is to remove the seat, disassemble the seat belt guide and rail, and usually replace some parts.

But the short term solution is often to simply hold on to the seat belt latch and rock it forward and away from the seat as you try to go forward or back. Or, sometimes it works best to rock it backwards and away from the seat as you try to move forward or back. It all depends on which way it is binding.

There's no guarantee that it won't jam again if you move it all the way back or forward, but once you find the right position to hold the seat latch in while moving the seat, you should be able to re-adjust it where you need it to be.

The driver seat will not go forward

if going backward is working, and foward is not,, easy
,1st determine what is defective-so u know what to replace/repair-2 things only ,[1-switch or 2- motor under d seat]
by presing the backward swicth,, you can hear the sound of the motor running and u can see the seat is going backward...
1-now by pressing the foward switch, and you hear the motor running but not that strong like the rear ..and the seat move an inche /a little and stop,,.then u have a defect weak motor,
2- now by pressing the foward swicth and u dont hear any motor running then the switch is most likely defective
defective switch -repair- spray contact cleaner, remove cover switch, penetrate inside
defective motor-repair-remove motor replace inside carbon,,.chiepest way not to spend to much money..
i suggest even once a month,lubricate all power seat/even not powerseat/,door hinges/.trunk door/.power antenna./ .by spraying lubricating oil,. for maintanace,..you can save a lot..

2002 nissan maxima driver seat motor works on the right rail, but the left side is dead no sound and want to move on one rail only the right side

There is a cable that goes from the motor mounted on the right side rail that runs to a small gear box on the left rail, more then likely the cable has popped out of either the motor or the gear, it’s flexible and can be popped out fairly easily, even having bottles under your seat can cause this problem..

Power seat on driver side only goes forward and back . Tilt and up and down feature has stopped working already checked fuses and rattled the switch around encase it was jammed. No luck....any ideas

The power switch for your seat is a six way switch . It only has one power lead going into it . So , if forward and backward work then you have power to the switch . Would you need to do is try the up and down control while listening closely . If you hear a clicking noise but nothing else when you energize the switch you probably have a bad vertical control motor . If you hear a motor running right after the clicking noise and you probably have a bad control cable which goes between the motor and the vertical gear . If you don't hear anything at all when you activate the switch up and down , I would suspect a bad switch .

Drivers seat will not move forward/backward

if you can hear the motor trying to work it is common there is something like coins stuck in the rail if you hear no motor trying to work the you have an electric motor problem, but like all electrics you should always check the fuses first. hope this helps. ( rate me thanks )

Power seat problems driver side will not move

Seat motor, connector, wiring, fuse and position switch are the only item in the picture here,

I will start with checking the motor connector (NOT AIR BAG) first.

Fuse second and work you way to the switch,

If you are handy you can apply 12V power to the seat and see does it move.

A dirty seat track rail can also cause the fuse to blow,

Electric front seat stuck

the first thing to do is remove the plastic skirt around rhe seat,to do this remove the seat movement knobs by prying them off with screwdriver, gental steady pressure works, then remove the screw in the rear( back seat compartment),three screws at seat switches and the side skirt will pull out (four tabs are connected to the mating plastic pieces, pull outtoward you). two screws hold the front skirt on these are tough to get to they are at an angle. with this skirt removed you can get to the motor,
three screws remove the the motor (Isuggest unplugging motor, small connector) on each end of shaft are retaining bushings rotate them toward the back and they will disengage, you can now pick up the motor and the the shafts will come out with it.these shafts disengage from the motor and should be kept seperate (greasey)
I used a R2 square drive bit (the driver used to install deck screws) to find which screwdrive is jammed, I adjusted the other one to its front stop with square driver bit the worked the jammed one back and forth mostly toward the rear and it worked free.
I adjusted this one to the front stop and reassembled the motor, shaft(make shure to snap retaining bushing in place)reconnect motor connector, all plastic skirts AND NEVER ALLOW THE SEAT TO TRAVEL TO ITS FRONT STOP AGAIN. (4HRS)
