SOURCE: Warning lights PT cruiser

that is likely the check engine light. if you live near an autozone they will scan it for codes (free) and that should tell you why the light came on

SOURCE: Car shudders when accelerating...

My wife's 02 Audi A4 1,8t had the same problem after talking with Audi (coil pack/spark plugs) we replaced them all and the problem still persisted not to say that won't fix your problem but what I found to be the problem was 3/8 vacuum line (shaped like a S) that comes up on the right hand side between the oil filter and the fire wall that comes from the turbo check valve assembly (its hard to locate and should be done with the engine cool) up to a valve assembly that connects to the intake manifold, what was happening was the hose would become spongy at the bottom (you will have to squeeze the hose from top to bottom to notice the difference) and as the engine heats up it would cause the hose to collapse. Once I replaced the hose and the computer reprogrammed the fuel mixture (about 25 miles of driving) the problem seems to have been correct. Good luck.I had also replaced the turbo check valve about three years ago because of a severe hesitation when you first apply gas (turbo check valve may not be the proper name.) Sorry. SOURCE: I have a low speed shudder that is around 30-40

DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FLUID OTHER THAN MITSUBISHI FLUID!!!! Any other fluid other than Mitsubishi fluid will blow the torque converter these transmission are very picky. Have a COMPLETE fluid tranny flush with Mitsubishi ATF Fluid. If your truck is an AWD that had a recall on the drive shaft, if you have an AWD and did not experience this before you have just been lucky and now had your luck run out at 160K. I would however put my money on the use of non-Mitsubishi transmission fluid.

Sounds like you need to check your gas cap or the filler tube and the vent tube, insufficient vacuum in one of these areas put up the warning.

My pt cruiser has code 1391. i changed cam sensor crank sensor wires plugs and coil still getting 1391 code and from 0 mph to 20 mph car skips and revs up any ideas?

The cam and crank sensors have the same power wire. Go after that one. They also have the same ground, but other sensors connect to it also. So it's not the ground. And they have separate return signal wires. Not them either.

Location speed sensor pt cruiser 03 touring car do

It sounds like the module is in limp mode. The speed sensor is most likely the cause, but it can be some other things as well. A scan will give a code stating the problem area.

The speed sensors are on the side of the trasmission that faces the front of the vehicle. There are 2 of them, and they are the same sensor. One is an input speed sensor located closest to the engine, the other is the output speed sensor.

My 2002 pt cruiser lost power steering suddenly

check to see if the serpantine belt is still there. It sounds like like it broke. this belt runs all of the accesories on the vehicle including the water pump. So if this happened it probably starting running hot too

My 2007 buick rendezvous has a shudder starting at 40 mph and it smooths out at about 55-60 mph. this occurs with moderate acceleration. the tires and rims are fine had them checked out extensively. seems...

It's a step-by-step process. If it only happens on acceleration then it is a drivetrain problem. Start verifying from the outer cv joints and go in from there

Have an alignment place check your idler arms & steering links, and tie rods for play, as well as the rest of the front end. that's a dangerous thing to fool around with.
