I think I am only seeing part of your question. But from what I do see, I would say yo have a blown head gasket or a cracked head.

Check your oil if it's not the color it normally us and looks slushy than you have a blown head gasket that's when your oil mixes in with your antifreeze and to fix that you either need a new engine or change the head gasket

Do i need head gasket

there are about 8 tests to prove this. and lots of signs.
1: fails compression test.
2: water in engine oil.
3: carbon and oil floating top of RAD filler hole. cap off dead cold
4: constant need for adding AF.
5: steam out tail pipe end, hot engine, fully hot.
6:rad leak down tester fails.
7:the rad blue green tester fails. proves exhaust gasses in RAD.
8: air (seemingly) blasting in to side expansion tank, (combustion gasses actual)
9: engine over heat. and pings. and loss of power.

ill stop here, there are more.

1994 lexus es300 i just changed the rad and put new rad cap on, it just seems like the upper rad hose is very hard, it takes long time to get to normal engine temp

It sounds like your thermostat is not functioning properly. If the thermostat is stuck in the wide open position, too much coolant flow is allowed to circulate through the system.

Will not start following rad hose repair?

this is odd! some how did you get the cap wet? pop cap and dry it out. coolant will feel greasey, break clean and a wipe of a rag will work. do the same with everything else under cap, blow dry. check wires. make cure youy did"t knock something loose. check for spark, fuel,i"m sure you did"nt do something to loose compreson! need fuel, need spark, need compression....what is mission? this age car does"nt have much more

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue that has a small coolant leak. It appears to be leaking somewhere under the motor on the drivers side of the vehicle. I ran it up yesterday and the fans seem to cycle...

Could be intake gaskets, Use a rad. cap/rad. pressure tester, dont pressurize system higher than the rad cap is rated for(psi). You might find the leak that way.

the head gaskets are blown you can believe that anytime on any engine gas or deisel that you get oil in the radiator and there water/ antifreeze in the oil pan the gaskets and or cylinder heads are bad

My BMW 318i has had a new expansion tank fitted after overheating and splitting. After bleeding the cooling system it seems as though the bottom hose is not getting hot any suggestions would be welcome

NORMALY THE HOT FLOW ENTERS THE TOP HOSE AND COOLER WATER LEAVE THE BOTTOM HOSE BACK TO THE BLOCK, SO IF THE TOP HOSE GETS WARM THEN THE RAD IS BLOCKED , IF NIETHER GETS WARM/HOT THEN THERMOSTAT NOT WORKING, OR YOU HAVE BLOCKAGE ELSE WHERE, SO REMOVE BOTH HOSES FLUSH RAD WITH HOSE PIPE, (WHEN ENGINE IS COLD) SEE IF WATER FLOWS OUT AT SAME SPEED AS U R FILLING IT, IF NOT ITS BLOCKED, 2ND REMOVE THERMOSTAT AND FLUSH ENGINE OUT, U CAN BUY RAD FLUSH/CLEANER AND TRY THAT,

Oil in coolant only

You might have a blown head gasket that is allowing one of your oil galleries in the engine to mix engine oil with the coolant after the oil pressure gets to a certain point. You might also have a cracked head causing the same type of problem.
