Look inside vechicle where tail light is remove carpet and cover should see plastic nuts hold light cover in place should have three large plastic nuts hold light cover in place.

The fasteners may be behind the interior panel of the hatch. Take the one screw out, and if that doesn't release the light, then look for the interior fasteners.
