You need to connect a diagnostic scanner to the truck and read the trouble code that is stored in memory. Once this is done, it will give you an area to start a diagnostic procedure. All vehicles today have the ability to store trouble codes to alert of any vehicle issue. This HAS to be done to move forward.

Was the ETC replaced or just the throttlebody? What needs to be done now is as follows: Erase the DTC that have displayed on the code reader. Disconnect the NEGATIVE side of the battery for 30 secs, then reconnect. Inspect ALL connections to the ETC and be sure they are connected solid. Start the vehicle, and check the battery voltage and see if it is high (over 16 volts) or low (under 13 volts). Check the battery connections also, and be sure they are not loose or corroded.

Hello ssahrai.

What do you mean by safe mode?
Have you had a scan done on the vehicle? If so, what were the codes?
Did the air bags deploy?

Both of those P codes have nothing to do with airbag (supplemental restraint system)....P2104 is EGR system and P2110 is throttle actuator system.....
You will need a scanner that is able to access the airbag system.
Not all scanners have the proprietary ability to get the codes.
Often a dealership or a high end repair shop will be able to do this for you.

    Ooops ...Sorry ssahai.

I was mixed up with another customer with airbag issue.
    OK, on to yours.
I can't see why the collision would affect the symptoms.
Both problems are also unrelated as far as the codes are concerned.
Give me a little time to check on any possible relation possibilities to your issue.

OK, here is what I have found with your concern.
P2110 is to be ignored until P2104 is diagnosed.
I went through the several pages of tests looking for a possible relation to your problem.
There is a position sensor at the fuel pedal. I am wondering if during the incident of the collision that something rolled forward and stuck under the fuel pedal or in some way damaged it.
Inspect the area of the fuel pedal and see if the connection is damaged in any way.
    Let me know.

How to read oil filler levels

Hi Dave the capacity varies from vehicle to vehicle. If it has a dipstick there is two marks on it a about 1.5 inches apart, the one near the end of the stick is the mimum level, and the one higher up is the maximum level. If you are changing the oil drain and refill with 4 litres or 2 quarts. Then check the level if its below minium add around 1 litre and keep checking until the the level is at least between the two marks. Regards Jim...

What are the recommended services between 70,000 amd 80,000 miles?

That service visit is an easy one. Change the engine oil, oil filter and lubricate the front end. If you are doing this yourself, add checking differential and trans fluid levels, coolant level and give everything a good looking over for loose parts, leaks and anything else obvious.

How do you change the oil on a 2006 chevy colorado

This is for the 5 cylinder 3.5 liter engine in the Colorado

1. The drain plug is in the middle of the oil pan on the drivers side.
Use a 15 mm socket or box end wrench to remove the plug. Drain
oil.
2. The oil filter is at the bottom front corner of the engine on the passenger side. Remove the filter. Try not to tip the filter when you
remove it so you don't get oil on other parts of the truck.
3. Rub a small of oil on the gasket of the new filter. Spin on the new filter, 3/4 to 1 turn past when the gasket starts to seat. Hand tighten
only.
4. Reinstall the drain plug. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN OR YOU COULD
STRIP THE THREADS.
5. Add 6 quarts of oil to the oil filler tube located on top of the engine
in the front and middle of the engine compartment. It shows the location
in the owners manual. Install the filler cap.
6. Start the engine and let it run a few minutes to fill the filter with oil.
Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to drain down to
the bottom of the engine. Remove the dip stick and check oil level.
Checking oil level is in the owners manual.

I have a Saab 9-3 TDi 2001. The engine warning

Hi
If your engine warning light has come on this is indicating there in a serious problem and the limp mode has been switched on to safe guard the engine. It could be a number things, but I'll give you some basic things to look at which may help you.
  1. Check all fluids are are the correct levels - engine oil, radiator water level in overflow tank usual beside the radiator.
  2. Also check transmission fluid level if it is an automatic, from the dipstick.
If all these are ok then check these areas:
  1. Air Filter and housing has no blockage.
  2. Fuel filter may need replacing or water separator is filled with water, loosen valve at the bottom of fuel filter and drain the excess water. Fuel should not come out just water if there is any.
If all these are ok then there is a problem regarding sensor faults, fuel pump timing, and further in depth diagnosis will be needed. Hope this is helpful, let me know how you get on.

My cruiser has had an oil light go on and off.. 3 weeks ago engine light came on and I had oil changed now oil light come on at stop light... ..also maybe related...I turned off my car and now I cannot...

Im not 100% shure on this model car but check the oil and other fluids to see if they are at a good level. the computer might have put your car into a type of safe mode to not burn up the engine.

Engine light comes on and wont go faster than 90 kms per hour back speed off and light gos off

the engine light is a run safe feature. it could meen low oil, fuel blockage, low coolant and, if diesel, water in fuel filter.
Check all levels, and if ok, it colud be something more serious like oil pump, water pump or oil filter.

Check transmision oil level, Place car in park, hand break, open motor compartment and check transmision oil level with motor on idle. Good level?: transmision is bad, repare or replace the whole unit. bad level: complete and check for leakeges.
