Were is the oil sending unit on a olds alero

no engine stated. and no year. and and...
OLDS HONDA>? really?
on some Honda engines, there are 3 oil sensors.
2 for VVT
and 1one for engine main gallery.
why not just say ,why you ask.

eg; my dash lamp glows. here, "name it"
or i connected my shop, oil guages to the main gallery and it was low
why is the dash gauge not glowing, (it glows at 3PSI and is near useless, the reason its called and idiot light.........!!!!)
or i had a scan tool connected and it threw DTCs for VVT.
what are the DTCs errors.

we cant help if you cant fill in all this context.
not at all.
even if curious.
and if so, why not get a FSM or login to and read there first. id bet you'd have 10000 questions then.

if really an OLDS-me-bubble.
it had
2.2 L Ecotec L61 I4
2.4 L LD9 I4
3.4 L LA1 V6

pick one, or login to see your engine, (USA cars)

id bet posting to Oldsmobile forum sections gets batter answers
and 10x that if engine stated.

What kind of motor will interchange with a 2.2 ecotec? (2004 chevy malibu)

Well the 2.2 engine was used in Cavaliers after 2002 and Cobalts.
Olds Alero from 2002 - 2004
Grand Am and Sunfires
And several Saturns.
Now which ones will bolt up is a different story.
A salvage yard should have an actual interchange list.

Where is an oil filter located at on an olds alero 2003 ecotec 2.2

Follow the air intake hose to the throttle body at the engine. Beneath it you'll see a black top with a raised hexagonal protrusion. This is the canister that contains the oil filter. You'll need a 32mm socket to remove the top to access the filter.

How do you change the rear sparkplugs on an 2004 Oldsmobile Alero V6 ?

On the 2002 olds alero 2.2 4 cylinder ecotec the spark plugs are located on top of the intake, under the cover that gives the engine size,it I think that yours are also located under this cover. All you have to do is remove the four bolts on top of the cover and your plugs will be under there.
